About
The Harvard Brain Tissue Resource Center at McLean Hospital receives brain donations from across the United States for research on brain disorders. The legal next of kin must contact the center at the time of death to authorize donation, and the center coordinates the brain recovery. A neuropathology report is generated and shared with the donor’s next of kin.
